You will then create your login and complete your user "profile".
When you select your user name (forum name) we'd prefer you to use your real name, or at least some abbreviated form that is readily identifiable to other users. Note that only an Administrator can change your user name after your login has been created.
When entering your profile settings note the following recommendations:
- Location should be your company or establishment name (if applicable) and your country.
- Always show my e-mail address should be set to "No".
- Timezone should be set to suit your locality, so that timestamps are displayed relative to your local time. Note that there is no automatic adjustment for Daylight Savings Time.
Due to a spate of "spambot" registration attempts, we've had to modify the registration process slightly:
You will be asked to supply a single, specific word for your registration to be accepted. The word is posted here: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=748 - Bots won't be able to find that automatically but the word may change if they ever learn the word somehow, but the posted location won't change.
Once you submit your registration, you will be e-mailed confirmation of your login details, but will need to wait for your account to be activated by an admin.
You are able to modify your password or other details by clicking on Profile when you are logged in. Your profile also allows you to select or upload an "avatar" image that will appear beside any post you make.
