General Data Protection Regulation 2018

Post by Ian McIntosh » Wed May 23, 2018 9:17 pm

In response to the GDPR, I've posted updated Privacy Policy statements on each of the active website sub-domains (and you may have hit a GDPR acceptance dialog on your way here): GDPR mainly affects people (other than "data processors"/"data controllers") that will post new content onto the website (or people who have done so in the past), but some "personal data" will be held for anyone who has a login for any of the above sub-domains.

The SJTAG Mailing List is currently out-of-use, so I haven't done anything with that yet. The current email reflector used for the STAM Study Group (and which will transfer to any future STAM Working Group) is operated by IEEE and so operates from the US rather than in the EEA and falls under the IEEE Privacy Policy - https://www.ieee.org/security-privacy.html. I do note however that IEEE have not self-certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework, which I find curious.
